What's Really Wrong With This Picture

YOU MUST READ THIS !This is what is wrong with health care: this is my actual benefits summary for December. The prescription valued at $278.47 is the same medication as the prescription valued at $17.97...... it's just different prices because it's prescribed for different reasons. Get this one! The more expensive price is for the purpose of smoking cessation! The cheaper one is for panic attacks. ITS THE EXACT SAME DRUG. BUT IF YOU TAKE IT TO QUIT SMOKING IT COST MORE!!! And Obama WANTS you to quit smoking!!! My ass! The govt should have fixed this illegal and deceptive practice by pharmaceutical companies. Not mask our issues with this bullshit Robin hood healthcare plan.

A Word From This Lackey...

Why do we fight the fight with MedfordCity Hall? Well, the answer is quite simple: someone has to fight the bastards. And, just so you are clear, this isn't just a TV3 issue; it goes much deeper than that. It’s about calling out all the liars, cheaters, and politicians with personal agendas. You also have to realize that the politicians we fight aren’t just some bunch of people in office for a few years- these people have been running our city for decades! Whether talking about the Penta Machine, Maiocco Machine, or McGlynn Machine, one thing is for certain, that these guys have had their hand in the cookie jar way too long.

This is an election year and that means we will do everything in our power to help push these long time machines out of Medford. Yes, this means we will write articles about them. We will distort their likeness for the sake of parody. As a tool, we will use truths to expose their lies and discredit their façade. This is the level of scrutiny they agree to when they take on such an important role as public servants to us all. If you are supporters of these corruptors, then you will not like our fight against them. You may, at your own will, however, support these politicians in contrast to that of the opposition.  If this is truly your belief, then support them, picket for them, create blogs in their support. It is your right to do so. But please, do not attack us below the belt. Do not make your disagreement in politics a personal matter between acquaintances.

These blog articles represent­­­ the very essence of free speech in the most time-honored reasoning since our forefathers completed the Declaration of Independence: to stand up against the wrongdoings of government. Too many Americans have become complacent. They think they have no say in what is happening or more accurately, think their voice just doesn’t count in the grand scheme of things. This is just not true. It starts on the local level. There is a trickle down effect from the local to national level and peoples’ attitudes toward speaking up locally sets the trend in peoples’ willingness to exercise their free speech in a society. From the beginning, people have stood up against government through witticism and parody. This includes satire through prose, art, video, and even sound. While the satire might be unpopular among an audience, it does not mean that such right is unjust or at the very least, unwarranted.

So, to the freedom fighters reading this, you get my point. For those who think this is just a TV3 issue or an overly dramatized petty fight, then you either never had the balls to fight for what you believe is right, or simply forgot you have a voice.


To the nameless, rest assured that no blog will be written about you. If you fear that a blog will be written about you then you have not realized the purpose of these articles. These articles expose the truths of corrupt politicians. It doesn't matter if they are nice people on the street or even held the hand of a dying person. It is about their commitment to the community and calling them out on the things they do wrong. We don’t create sites about people just because they have pissed us off. These are politically motivated. And to the nameless, you are a friend, not a foe. It’s understandable that our emotions get the better of us sometime. But once again, like we have said from the start, WE never fling mud first.

ObamaCare is Just a Glorified Marketing Scheme

Obamacare = affordable marketing opportunities for private insurance companies. Each ad cost $650,000 per month per market. Well over $50 million dollars a year in advertising.

Instead of our gov't finding a way to regulate COSTS they give insurance companies more business by tapping into a market they never had: the poor.

Europeans pay 60% less for medications than in America. Not because of subsidies or insurance plans but because the govt regulates pharmaceutical companies

I Can't Afford My Affordable Insurance

My affordable health plan is $6500 a year...for the lousy insurance option. I do not qualify for subsidies. It includes half the things my old insurance had but many new things I do not need. It would be better to not get insurance. ...take a $210 penalty hit...then just spend out of pocket $150 per doctors visit on that very rare occasion that I need a doctor. I doubt I will spend up to $6500 in a year. If something catastrophic happened and the bill was high the solution will be to just not pay it. Of course I have to carry around a fake id with a fake name so that in the ambulance when they are looking through my wallet to see where to send the medical bill...they know to mail it to Garfield Ave.

Masshealth Scam

MA HEALTH CONNECTOR/OBAMA CARE = FUCKING SCAM. Hundreds of MA residents are filling out forms online and being tricked into providing marketing firms, telemarketers, and insurance companies with personal IDENTIFIABLE information. ObamaCare was created to make Insurance companies WEALTHIER, the Low-class to HAVE MORE than what they should be entitled to at the EXPENSE OF THE MIDDLE CLASS. The stupid healthcare.gov site is estimated to have cost nearly $600 MILLION dollars. For a website! Not to mention that the 16 day government shut down which was fueled by this healthcare debate cost America 23 BILLION dollars. Obama says "i am sorry." Not good enough

The Bronze Plan

BRONZE PLAN: "A good choice if you expect to use a low amount of health services during the plan year." OK, let me ask my body if it plans on using a low amount of health services this year. Let me also ask the car that might hit me while crossing the road not to hit me too hard because I only have insurance to cover me for low amounts of health services.

ObamaCare and RomneyCare Are Not The Same

Thank you again, Obama: We've talked about how 3.5 million people have had their private insurance canceled (even though Obama lied and said that if you want to keep your current insurance, you can, don't worry nothing will change). We've talked about how the cancellations are a result of policies not meeting the minimum coverage requirements under Obama's mandate. But how about this new curve ball: being denied subsidized insurance because your employer IS NOW FORCED TO OFFER affordable care.

Here's how it goes in MA....this is a true story about someone I know: she has been on Masshealth for the past year and paid a reasonable premium as most of it was subsidized by the state due to her income eligibility. Her employer did not used to offer insurance. Now, because Obama intends on imposing a $2000 fine PER EMPLOYEE for not offering insurance, the company realized that the total fines for one year would be $90 MILLION. So, the company decided it would be cheaper to offer insurance, pay 60% of each employees' premium, and instead of paying $90 MILLION, they will have to dish out $60 MILLION. It's a little bit better and obviously the smarter choice.

So, because she is now offered reasonable insurance from her employer, and because based on her income, the employer-offered insurance still falls within the "affordable" healthcare. The difference is that she no longer qualifies for public insurance or subsidies. Now she is forced to take her employer offered insurance AND pay a higher premium than she would have on Mass Health. Once again, an example how you may not be able to keep what you used to have, pay more than you used to, and get the same or less coverage.

Thank you Obama; this was really well thought out.

Let's not forget that WE ARE PAYING FOR THEM TO FIX THE FLAWED WEBSITE EVERY DAY. THE ESTIMATE IS $1.2 MILLION PER DAY TO FIX A DAMN WEBSITE!

SO FAR IT IS ESTIMATED IT WILL HAVE COST $300 MILLION TO BUILD A WEBSITE!

90% of America Does Not Understand

Convinced that 90% of America does not understand how health insurance works (public or private) and does not understand how prescription "prices" are determined. Furthermore, most college-aged people cannot describe the difference between a co-pay, co-insurance, premium, or deductible. The government did a good job choosing something to control that most do not understand.
